MPAA Bans Eva Green 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' Poster For Nudity [PHOTO]
Several character posters for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For dropped last week, but Eva Green did not appear on any of them because the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) banned the poster for nudity.
The MPAA cited "nudity - curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown." Check out the photo below to see for yourself:
[WARNING: SOME NUDITY. NSFW]
The poster clearly doesn't leave much to the imagination, but the determination of whether or not it crosses the line is up to the individual viewer.
The official description for A Dame to Kill For reads:
"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For weaves together two of Frank Miller's classic stories with new tales in which the town's most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more repulsive inhabitants. In Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord, and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to 'The Big Fat Kill' (featured in the film Frank Miller's Sin City) and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face."
The movie stars Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Powers Boothe, Rosario Dawson, Dennis Haysbert, Stacy Keach, Jamie King, Ray Liotta and Jeremy Piven and hits theaters on Aug. 22.
