While you're still dealing with Dark Souls II, the game's developer From Software has allegedly been working on a follow-up title for PlayStation 4! According to some leaked video footage, a game going by the name "Project Beast" is on the way, and could come pretty soon from the looks of it.

Kotaku reports:

Early this month, rumors about something called "Project Beast" started floating across the web. A number of screenshots, posted on 4chan and compiled in this NeoGAF thread, allegedly showed off an upcoming PS4 game developed by From Software, the studio behind Dark Souls. Though we don't know for sure that these are from an upcoming game-we've asked Sony to comment, but we don't expect anything beyond the "we don't respond to rumors" line-we think they're too cool not to share.

From the looks of this footage, whatever "Project Beast" is looks incredible. It definitely resembles the Dark Souls universe, so it's no wonder we're considering this game its follow-up.

We of course can't confirm anything as of now, and From Software isn't responding to this leaked footage. For now, we'll hope to get some information at the upcoming E3 conference running from June 10 to June 12. Perhaps "Project Beast" will turn out to be nothing more than a cancelled level from Dark Souls II, or maybe we're getting a new game franchise to become addicted to!
