David Moyes Discusses Manchester United And Both Blames and Praises Sir Alex Ferguson

A little over a year ago the greatest soccer manager ever, in Sir Alex Ferguson, stepped down as Manchester United's manager. He then identified the then Everton manager, David Moyes, as the man to take his job. United followed through with this, but it didn't work out, with Moyes being sacked under a year later. He has started to open up about his sacking, but he did so by both blaming and praising Sir Alex. 

Moyes spoke of Sir Alex, saying "I had nothing but support from Sir Alex during my time as manager. When I succeeded him he advised me of some changes that had to be made. I took his advice on board and started to implement the necessary changes and modernise certain aspects. I also became aware of other changes that had to be made. It was never going to all come together in a few weeks or months."

It seems Moyes found the perfect balance of both praising his friend, whilst sharing the blame. Does this hold well for his future, considering he was failing to be his own man, and asking for help from the former manager he replaced? With top jobs like Celtic and West Brom available, perhaps one of them will be the perfect chance for Moyes to find himself once again.

David Moyes has revealed he is assessing his options and has already received tempting management position offers. Can he rebuild the reputation he created as Everton boss, or will he continue his torrid period of failure that he endured at Manchester United?
