Premier League Transfer Gossip: Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea Fighting it Out For Mario Balotelli As Cesc Fabregas & Adam Lallana Set For Fresh Moves

The Premier League transfer window is usually one of the most exciting periods of sporting transactions, but the 2014 transfer window appears to be like no other. Many clubs are looking to spend their spare millions on upgrading their rosters before the 2014 World Cup, which is exciting as teams usually keep some spare money to use on players that appear out of nowhere at the World Cup. What players are your team to set to sign and lose?

Arsenal are one of the most active teams at the moment. They were believed to be the front-runner for former player Cesc Fabregas, who Barcelona have transfer listed, but they've ruled themselves out of the running. However, AC Milan forward Mario Balotelli, formerly of Manchester City, is not somebody they're prepared to rule out making a move for.

Balotelli is known for his crazy antics on and off the field, as well as his incredible goalscoring ability. Milan have no desire to keep him in Italy, but it seems Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in the 23-year-old Italian forward. Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested in Southampton midfielder, Adam Lallana, who is with England at the World Cup.

With players coming in, usually some will leave, too. Inter Milan are looking to bring Premier League forwards Javier Hernandez, of Manchester United, and Fernando Torres, of Chelsea, to the club. It's unclear if they can sign either of them, but it's highly unlikely they will be able to strike deals to sign.

With clubs set to spend millions and millions of dollars it seems like soccer fans could be in for an interesting summer.
