After thirteen exciting years with Chelsea FC, England's goal-scoring phenom, Frank Lampard, will hang up his blue jersey for the last time. This summer will mark "Super" Frank's departure from his beloved team, leaving fans to dismay in the news but allowing the star player to focus on more challenges in his future career.

Lampard is Chelsea's all-time leading goal scorer, with a record high count of 211 balls netted. With Lampard on the squad, Chelsea has won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups, a Champions League title and one Europa League.

He's called Stamford Bridge home for over a decade, but rumors suggest that he's being eyed to move to the States this summer. According to reports, New York City FC wants the 35-year-old superstar to cross the pond next season. We'll have to wait and see if this comes to fruition.

For now, check out this excerpt from Lampard's official departure announcement:

"I would like to thank the Chelsea fans. I believe they are the greatest fans in world football. You have supported me from the moment I arrived. Not only on the pitch, but in difficult moments in my personal life off the pitch. I will never forget ... I feel honored to have shared so many special times with you.

Whatever the next challenge is for me I will always be amongst you and have Chelsea in my home and in my heart. Hopefully I will get to see you all soon to say goodbye properly. In the meantime thank you for the memories and keep making history!"
