Did Bryan Singer's 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Announcement Make Marvel Cancel 'X-Force' Movie Adaptation?
Marvel Comics legend, Rob Liefeld, this week took to his Twitter account to pretty much announce that the X-Force movie we heard about earlier this year might be cancelled. According to the series' creator, filmmaker Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse announcement a few months ago changed everything, and the future of X-Force is questionable now.
Considering the storyline of Apocalypse in the Marvel Universe, Liefeld assumed certain X-Force characters would appear in the X-Men movie, thus affecting the standalone film.
While answering fans' questions and concerns on Twitter, the comic book creator broke the news little by little, though he admitted nothing was set in stone yet. Check out his tweets here:
Coin toss I'd wager... RT @theshaTAY: @Meeea @robertliefeld Will there even be an X Force movie?

I have no idea if Cable will appear in future X-Men films. Hard to believe he won't appear in Apocalypse but I don't expect it. — robertliefeld (@robertliefeld) June 2, 2014

Meanwhile, Liefeld does keep an air of secrecy for his other possible movie adaptation, Deadpool:
Negativity? Be patient! RT @RyanRocca: So with the negativity around x-force film being made, do you feel DP has a chance? @robertliefeld — robertliefeld (@robertliefeld) June 2, 2014
