The Voice RaeLynn Scores Record Deal with Republic Nashville
RaeLynn proves that you don't need to win on a singing competition to score a record deal. The 18-year old country singer has just scored a contract with Big Republic Nashville, a division of Big Machine Label Group.
She has won the hearts of many Americans on season 2 of The Voice and made it to the top 12. Since she got knocked off the show, RaeLynn worked on new music for her debut album. Being on Blake Shelton's team proved to be a very good thing for her. She's already made friends with Miranda Lambert and has co-written a couple of songs together.
She is joining the Republic Nashville family of country stars Martina McBride, the Band Perry, Eli Young Band, Greg Bates, and Sunny Sweeney. She is scheduled to perform alongside her label mates on July 29 at an event sponsored by Big Machine Records.
