Keyshia Cole And Family Beef; Singer's Mother Frankie And Sister, Neffe Want New Show, "Family Therapy" Picked Up By A Network Now!
Keyshia Cole may hate reality TV but her family doesn't. MStars has learned that the singer's mother Frankie and her sister Neffe are working on a new pilot called, Family Therapy.
The series is described as "an intense Family Therapy" experiment, where Cole's mother, Frankie will join six other children she had in the past to meet each other for the first time.
According to Eurweb all of the new siblings will live under one roof together along with Frankie and Neffe as they hash out issues, family secrets and more with a therapist.
In 2010, Cole made a vow to never return to reality TV as a result of how her sister and mother acted on the hit BET show, Frankie & Neffe. The embarrassed star revealed that she was no longer close to her mother and sister.
According to the site during an interview with V-103, the singer said:
"The last thing I would want is to mess up someone's character as a person but what we have going on behind closed doors is a whole 'nother thing. A lot of my life has been viewed in the public eye. Everybody knows I really didn't want them to do the show because I felt like if I wasn't involved, some things were going to be out in the open that really shouldn't."
She continued. "I've spoken to Neffe, I speak to my mom and Elite. It's not that I don't forgive them, I just don't know how to step back into that mode after what has happened. I don't know how to deal with it. I'm here and I love them and I'll do what I can as far as helping them out but as far as the bond right now, it's kind of broken."
And if you thought that this new show was going to do more damage to Keyshia Cole and her family, forget it! Neffe made that clear via Twitter. She wrote, "Just an FYI "Family Therapy" is not a show bashing my sister @KeyshiaCole..I know you all would love to see that but it's not happening!"

Back then in 2010 Cole was focused on her marriage to NBA star Daniel Gibson, and becoming a new mom. She released a statement that said the following:
"I's time that I clear the air. It's not a secret that I haven't been in contact with my mother Frankie, and my sisters Neffe and Elite and I never wanted to air out our differences to the public. While I won't go into detail here I find it necessary to let you guys know I decided to stop communication with them because I was at a point in my life where I needed serenity and peace to move forward. Please know I love my family very much but it was time to let it go," she wrote.
"You guys are a witness to a lot of what was happening from watching on air and online. Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority. It's very important to both Daniel and I. My plate is very full; I have a new baby coming, we are planning our wedding and I am working in the studio on a new album that I am close to completing. The stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it's not what I need at this time in my life."
Stay tuned, MStars can't wait to see where this is headed. Watch the pilot here.
