E3 2014: ‘Doom 4’ Releases First Teaser Trailer! Meet New And Improved ‘Cyberdemon!’

Bethseda Softworks and id Software took the opportunity at Microsoft's E3 press conference to release the first teaser trailer for Doom 4. Players must get their chainsaw ready because this nightmarish new look to the Cyberdemon will definitely get your blood boiling.

Not much of the game is actually revealed in the teaser trailer. But the metal-infused hellspawn certainly makes a grand entrance in the debut video. In the classic Doom game, the Cyberdemon is the final big boss of the last level. The player has to face off against a giant Minotaur-like creature. This raging horned devil walks around with a cybernetic right leg. To make matters worse, this walking nightmare has a rocket launcher for hand.

There is something to be excited about with the new and improved Cyberdemon. Its organic heart is beating in rhythm inside a metal chest plate. Just look at the detail to the rocket launcher. The weapon of mass destruction even has a serial number attached to the side. If a lot of attention was put on this character alone, imagine the rest of the videogame.

At the end of the video, the teaser promises everything will be revealed at QuakeCon 2014. The Texas-based convention, QuakeCon, will promote upcoming games and showcase the major franchises. Hopefully, we will get some definite gameplay footage at the annual event.
