AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Those are pretty much the only words that our mouth can form after watching the season five premiere of Pretty Little Liars.

Boy was this episode filled with some serious drama, some much-needed answers, and just some all around good lying.

The episode picks off right where last season left off with everyone's favorite cradle robbing teacher Ezra, getting rushed to the emergency room after getting shot by 'A'.

The ambulance shows up at the perfect time, letting viewers breathe a sigh of relief, but only a short one, because as the vehicle pulls away we see 'A' riding dirty on the hood of the car.

While Ezra fights for his life in the emergency room, our favorite liars are devising a plan to capture their hooded assailant, a plan which involved newly resurrected Alison, leading 'A' to a playground, maybe they're going to play a little patty cake.

'A' and Ali come face-to-face when the hoody wearing hoodlum gets close enough to whisper to her "want to play?" Told you they wanted to play some patty cake.

Hanna, Emily, Spencer show up, hoping that they have finally cornered 'A' for the last time, what they don't expect though is about twenty other masked freaks showing up and get them all discombobulated. The police break up the little pow wow and everyone disperses their own separate ways.

Meanwhile back in Rosewood, Mona and Lucas have a little pow wow of their own. They invite everyone that Alison has ever done wrong, including Paige and Melissa Hastings, to join them on their little revenge quest.

Back in New York, the girls break into a Broadway theater, which just so happens to be owned by Ezra's family, and also is someplace that Mr. Fitz took Ali on a date too, queue the flashback scene.

The Fitzgerald Theatre is a great place for the girls to have a little slumber party, and what's a sleepover which some snacks. The girls raid the concession stand and gossip about one of their favorite TV shows where a man eats the stuffing from his coach cushion. Ali feels left out of this conversation, surely some foreshadowing of what's to come for the rest of the season. She leaves Hanna, Emily, and Spencer while she makes a phone to Shana to babysit Aria while she waits for Ezra's condition to stabilize in the hospital.

There are also a few scenes that deal with Ali trying to get Cece Drake out of the country. Kind of boring if you ask us, but we will recap them anyway just for you diehard fans.

Cece somehow knows where Alison will be, and walks into the theatre looking for her help, not sure why she would sneak up on the blonde and cover her mouth while she's sleeping, but whatever. Ali enlists the help of Noel Khan, who we had to do a double take at, since we haven't really seen him much since season 2.

Anyway, Noel Khan provides Cece with some money and a passport, Vivienne Darkbloom's to be precise, to skip town. Ali gets sentimental saying this might be the last time she sees Drake. Cece tells her that they always find their way back to each other, don't we know it.

Finally viewers get to know the status on Ezra!!! We've only been waiting for the news since March!! Well, he is out of surgery but still very much out of it. When he opens his eyes he starts hyperventilating when he sees Shana and Aria in his hospital room, this is our first clue that something is a little bit off with this Shana character. While Shana bolts from the room, Ezra whispers something in Aria's ear that causes her to freak out and run from the room as well, we assume she is looking for Shana.

We get most of our answers during a scene between Alison and Emily. When Ali returns to the Broadway stage, she is scolded by Emily asking where she has been. Ali confides in her telling her everything about Cece but warning Emily that now that she know where Cece is that she becomes an accessory should anything happen to her.

Some of the answers we get are why Cece was on Ezra's payroll in Ravenswood, turns out he was paying her for information probably for his book, and also we learn that Cece only ever put on the red coat once, meaning all other times it was just Alison.

Back at the theatre we see a hooded Shana approaching the girls, with a gun ready locked and loaded. She tells them, that she has been behind all of their torment and it has all been payback for what they did to Jenna Marshall. The future for the liars looks pretty bleak but in the nick of time Aria shows up and takes up the loaded gun from the Broadway set and smacks Shana in the head with it making her fall off the stage. As she falls her gun fires causing lights to shatter. The liars run down to check on her and Emily pronounces the wicked witch to be dead.

The girls embrace each other and rejoice, thinking that the 'A' games are finally over.

While the show might have answered a few of our questions, we still have so more, like did Aria kill Shana, did Shana's gun misfire and kill her by accident, was she 'A' the whole time, is there another 'A' in on this?

I guess we will just have to tune in next week to find out more about our favorite liars.
