He said he could only play for two clubs, Barcelona and Arsenal, so the fact that Cesc Fabregas had gone from Barcelona to Arsenal to Barcelona, many believed his next move would be back to Arsenal. This summer Barcelona made the Spanish international available for transfer, and much to everyone's surprise, Arsenal rejected the chance to sign him. Despite saying he'd never play for a rival of Arsenal's, Cesc joined Jose Mourinho's Chelsea.

Cesc, 27, still has the best years of his career left, but after signing a five-year deal at the Stamford Bridge club, it appears they will be spent wearing the blue of Chelsea. The move will cost Chelsea around $45 million, making Cesc a slightly cheaper purchase than his Spanish teammate, Diego Costa, who has already agreed to join Chelsea this summer. The pair will be apart of a new-look Chelsea.

Cesc had his say on the move, explaining "I considered all the other offers very carefully and I firmly believe that Chelsea is the best choice," He continued "They have an amazing squad of players and an incredible manager. I am fully committed to this team and I can't wait to start playing," added Fabregas, who has 89 caps for Spain."

It will be hard for Arsenal, as their former hero scored 50 times in 305 games for them, but now he will be across London helping one of their biggest rivals return to glory. Can Cesc have a good World Cup, and how good a signing is he for Chelsea?
