Fans and MStars News want to know, is Charlie Hunnam dead at 34-years-old? According to multiple hoax sites the Sons of Anarchy star is.
According to MediaMass.net, people are getting sent to the grave everyday after a Facebook page was created to"honor" the "fallen" actor who apparently "died in a car crash." The Facebook page has been taken down, but it did have 1 millions "likes" on the page after being started on Sunday.
The description of Hunnam's death went like this:
"At about 11 a.m. ET on Sunday (June 15, 2014), our beloved actor Charlie Hunnam passed away. Charlie Hunnam was born on April 10, 1980 in Newcastle upon Tyne. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page."
Other rumors of Charlie Hunnam's death were spreading like wildfire, after fans of the actor, and Facebook users shared a link on their Facebook page. The link is called, "GOOGONLINE.COM," which is similar to "Google, according to the Inquisitr.
This site reveals that a page will pop up saying, "You Got Owned," if you click on the link. Apparently Hunnam's "death" is a game, and a prank. The rumors of the tragic "death" continues, because fans of the show choose not to click on the link, because the news of the "death" is too good to be true.
A rep for Hunnam dismissed the hoax on Monday stating:
"[Charlie] joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet."
Truth is there will always be a celebrity death hoax going around town. MStars News is just glad this hoax is not true.
