Though Spain hasn't lost to Chile in ten games against each other, the defending World Cup champions desperately need a win today. Chile of course has a lot to prove so going up against the beaten Spanish power could turn into another huge Group B upset.

"In life, there are solutions for everything. It's still in our hands," Spain's coach Vicente del Bosque said.

"A draw is not bad, but this group of players does not come with the idea to draw a game," Spanish midfielder Marcelo Diaz declared. "We came out with the idea of winning."

"We think that the match is going to be like any matches against Chile - it's going to be really intense. They take a lot of risks because that's the way they are, Fernando Torres said this week. "We feel a responsibility to defend our title, and there's pressure, but it's a shared pressure. We won as a team and if we lose, we lose as a team. If we win it'll be the whole team - 23 players plus coaches and everyone else. We're not even thinking about the possibility of defeat."

Hopefully the Spaniards perform a bit better today because Chile isn't going to give them a second to breathe.
