Rosario Dawson Joins Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox For ‘Marvel’s Daredevil!’ Here Are Five Roles The ‘Sin City’ Actress Might Play In Netflix’s Series!

Actress Rosario Dawson will be joining the cast of Marvel's Daredevil. We already know who Vincent D'Onofrio and Charlie Cox will be playing but not Dawson. Here are five possible roles the Sin City actress could be playing in the Netflix series.

As mentioned here, audiences will see D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, known the crime boss, "The Kingpin." Cox will play the double role of the blind lawyer by and the masked vigilante by night. But there is a bit of secrecy about the role for the Death Proof star.

The Hollywood Reporter states the Sin City actress will be playing an unnamed pivotal role in the Netflix series. In her key starring role, Dawson is a dedicated young woman who is on a quest to heal the wounds of Hell's Kitchen. According to Marvel, "her own journey forever alters the course of [Matt Murdock]'s battle against the injustices of this broken city."

Marvel's Head of Television, Jeph Loeb explains why he is excited to see the starlet joining the cast "Rosario Dawson is one the most charismatic, talented and powerful actresses in Hollywood. So she was always at the top of our list for Marvel's Daredevil." Loeb continues, "Her role in the series is absolutely critical to Matt Murdock's journey to become the hero we know as Daredevil."

Here are five possible roles she could play in the Daredevil series:

1) Karen Page: In the Daredevil series, Page is the secretary for Murdock's law firm and a love interest for the superhero. If the show is supposed to be dark and gritty, then comic books fans already know what happened to her when she faced Bullseye.

2) Elektra: I'm pretty sure that's on everybody's mind. Jennifer Garner already played female ninja assassin in the feature film with Ben Affleck. But then, Marvel would just be repeating themselves in the first season.

3) Typhoid Mary: The seductive villainess is The Kingpin's hired killer. Because of Mary Walker's split personality, half of her is in love with Matt, while the "Typhoid" part wants to kill Daredevil. Because Dawson is Gail in the Sin City movies, this would be a perfect fit for her.

4) Echo: The Kingpin murders Maya Lopez's father and raises her as his own child. When Lopez visits her father's grave, she always asks about his murderer. Fisk lies to her and tells her Daredevil murdered her patriarch.

5) Kristen McDuffie: In the comics, she is the current love interest for the man without fear. She pretends to be love him while hoping to prove Murdock is actually the costumed superhero.
