More set images from the filming of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice in Pontiac, Michigan continue to pour in, and the latest ones show the immense scale of the giant Superman statue that has appeared in numerous photos thus far.

Bananadoc, who originally posted some of the photos throughout the week, posted another photo of the statue with a crewmember next to it that gives perspective as to the size of the statue. The blog also reports that the crew dismantled the statue on Friday, as it "seems to have served its purpose." Batman-News reported earlier in the week that the statue is part of a ceremony commemorating the two-year anniversary of Superman's saving Metropolis from General Zod.

Comic Book Movie has compiled some more photos here.

In other Dawn of Justice news, Jason Momoa is still treating his supposed appearance as Aquaman in the movie as a rumor. When Jimmy Kimmel showed him a print out of a report confirming his participation in the movie on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Momoa only replied, "That would be pretty exciting, what do you think? We'll just have to wait. We'll just have to wait and see." Check out the clip here.

The Hollywood Reporter claimed Momoa would appear in Dawn of Justice and then take on a larger role in Justice League, which will reportedly shoot back to back with Batman V. Superman.

What do you think of the new photos? Are you surprised the crew took down the massive statue already after just a few days of filming? Let us know in the comments below.
