Beloved "Golden Girls" funnywoman Betty White recently fell victim to the infamous celebrity death hoax. But no worries, Mstars fans, the 92-year-old "Off Their Rockers" actress is NOT dead! She's still very much alive and kicking!

The morbid (and completely bogus) "in memoriam" report was originally posted on eBuzzd.com, which explained that White's lifeless body was found in a hotel room bathtub in Mexico earlier this week:

The world is saddened today as we slowly learn more about the death of Hollywood legend Betty White. Authorities were called to the exclusive celebrity resort La Palomas at around 2 p.m. Monday after Whites' body was found by resort staff, a law enforcement source told the eBuzzd. The source added that investigators do not suspect drugs or other foul-play to be a cause of her death at this time, but that testing and an autopsy is needed to determine a definitive cause of death.

Several Twitter fans were shocked and saddened:

@ProgressivesWin: "AWW I liked Betty White, a spirited happy soul, sorry to hear she passed. RIP."

@GangstaAriG: "RIP Betty White... so sad :( you'll be deeply missed...."

@MattJohns29: "Damn first Tony Gwynn and now Betty White. RIP."

@cmhgaydude: "Not to be cruel, but why are people "in shock" that Betty white died? She was 92!!! May she #rip."

@GitEmSteveDave: "First Casey Kasem, now Betty White. We're losing our cultural icons like crazy!! #RIP."

But take a closer look and notice that this "news" website is a total fake! A disclaimer reads:

"If you haven't figured out yet that this site contains fake news, then I feel sorry for you. By even visiting and browsing eBuzzd.com, you accept the fact that this site does not provide real news ... If you have a problem with that, then you are not allowed to view my website. Furthermore, all of the celebrities or public figures on eBuzzd.com are fictitious. Any resemblance to a real individual and/or corporation is strictly coincidental."

Who would want to kill-off Betty White! She may be old, but she's still rockin' it! TV Land's hit comedy sitcom "Hot In Cleveland" was just renewed for a sixth season - episodes of season five are broadcasting now.
