'Survivor' Castmate, Caleb Bankston Dead After Train Accident Just Months Before His Wedding

MStars News has learned the tragic news that, Caleb Bankston, a former contestant on Survivor: Blood vs. Water died Tuesday in a work-related train accident.

The 26-year-old who appeared on the hit TV show with his fiance last year, was scheduled to be married in October. Bankston who worked for the Alabama Warrior Railway, was working on one of the trains when it derailed Tuesday, killing him.

The reality game show star worked as a locomotive engineer/conductor. Details are unknown at this time to what caused the derailment but both OSHA and the Federal Railroad Administration have already been informed, and the incident is under investigation.

According to Fox 17, officials have issued a safety stand-down was ordered at the railway before workers can return.

Survivor cast member, Aras Baskauskas tweeted, "Caleb was an amazing man and friend. One of the sweetest and most sincere humans I've ever come across."
