Jessica Sanchez Excited For First Trip Ever To Philippines

Jessica Sanchez will be heading to her mother's homeland to perform for her Filipino fans. Since Jessica Sanchez appeared on American Idol, the world has come to know and love the unbelievably mature talented songstress who finished the show at second place, behind Phillip Phillips.

Sanchez is now touring the US with her fellow top 10 idol family hitting up each singer's hometown. She has some hardcore followers who continue to follow her every move worldwide and especially in the Philippines.

Sanchez who has never visited the Philippines shared, "I'm so excited. It will be my first trip to the Philippines."

The 16-year old's mother, Editha Bugay, is from Samal, Bataan within Luzon. Sanchez will be performing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Queson City in Manila. Tickets were already on sale since July 9th.

Sanchez' father, Gilbert, is a Mexican-American who has fought in the Iraq war and is currently a U.S. Navy serviceman.

The American singer is already working on her new record expected to release this year.
