How To: GOT White Walker Nails (VIDEO)
Using a fanned brush gives this project a new artistic level.
To begin this look, make sure your nails are clean and filed to a rounded tip. Feel free to shape your nails in your preferred style.
Once filed, coat your nails with a base polish. This can be a strengthening base coat or your favorite clear polish. I chose to begin using OPI's Nail Envy after hearing rave reviews online. You can get this polish at any beauty supply like Ulta or Sally Beauty Supply.
Using a paper towel, add droplets of your black nail polish to create a kind of pallet. I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Black Out. Dip the tip of your fanned brush until it has sufficient polish. Lightly drag your brush vertically upwards on your nail. Continue this process until a few solid lines appear.
Next, create another pool of polish on your pallet but this time use a white polish. I used Brucci's Snow White. Again, dip the tip of your fanned brush until it has sufficient polish. Lightly drag your brush vertically upwards on your nail. And again, continue this process until a few solid lines of white appear but make sure not to cover up the black nail polish completely.
Finish with a clear top coat, but make sure your black and white polish has dried to avoid over-blending.
