HBO's 'BoardWalk Empire' Releases Final Season Trailer! [Video]: Steve Buscemi's Nucky Thompson Learns 'All Empires Fall!'
HBO's Boardwalk Empire, starring actor Steve Buscemi as the politician/mob boss Nucky Thompson, releases a teaser trailer for its upcoming final fifth season. Find out how everyone will learn the painstaking truth that 'All empires fall.'
In the crime period drama, set during the Prohibition era in Atlantic City, New Jersey, follows Enoch 'Nucky' Thompson (Buscemi) as he tries to move ahead in the political world while staying one step ahead from the federal agents. While agents are investigating his mob connections, Nucky ties to outwit the other mob rivals. Competition heats up as real-life mobsters Arnold Rothstein (Michael Stuhlbarg), Charlie Luciano, and Meyer Lansky enter the mix.
[Spoilers] In the fourth season finale, Nucky watched his club get shoot to oblivion as the turf war between Dr. Valentin Narcisse (Jeffrey Wright) and Chalky White (Michael Kenneth Williams). Nucky's ex-wife Margaret, (Kelly Macdonald) also ended up in the arms with Rothstein in the final moments. The turf war is only to heat up after White's daughter ended up in the crossfire and Margaret knows Nucky's dirty little secrets. [End Spoilers]
In the teaser, we get flashes of what's to come. Al Capone (Stephen Graham) is definitely going to be in trouble as he comes to power. Everything is foreboding as the song in the background repeats the line, "One is the loneliest number..."

For Boardwalk Empire fans, they should be excited to know that Charlie Cox, who played Margaret's lover Owen Sleater, is joining Marvel's Daredevil along with Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio. As reported here, we have much to be excited about Cox playing the man without fear.
