Supernatural Season 10 Spoilers: New Character Rowena Introduced
The Season 9 finale of Supernatural ended with a game-changer, as Crowley returned The First Blade to Dean's lifeless body, which then opened its black eyes to reveal that the elder Winchester brother had become a demon. After such a shocking final moment, what could be in store for Season 10?
For starters, a new character will enter the mix. TVLine reports the following in its "Ask Ausiello" spoiler column:
"Do you have any scoop for Supernatural season 10? -Shelby
Ausiello: Sure do. The Season 10 premiere, tentatively titled 'Soul Survivor,' will introduce the new recurring role of Rowena, a tough but elegant woman who will stop at nothing to reclaim her power base. Here's the interesting part: Actresses who have or can perfect a Scottish accent are preferred. Hmm..."
Devoted fans of the show likely know that Crowley, the King of Hell, was once a Scottish man named Fergus McCloud. Could there be some connection between Crowley and Rowena?
And speaking of Crowley, it looks like he will see some more screen time when Supernatural returns for Season 10 in the fall, as Mark Sheppard has been added as a series regular for next year.
It's unclear in how many episodes Sheppard will appear, but the man who brings the King of Hell to life is likely to be involved in numerous installments given the developments in the Season 9 finale. Now that Dean is a demon, Crowley will more than likely be there to guide his new soldier.
