Lamb of God Singer Randy Arrested and Stuck in Jail

Lamb of God's lead singer Randy Blythe has been locked up in jail for more than 2 weeks.  Friends and family have been actively petitioning for the release of Blythe.  We haven't heard much from Blythe regarding the manslaughter charges against him, but finally he breaks the silence on a Czech tabloid magazine Blesk.

He told Blesk, "I don't know anything about any sort of incident [that allegedly took place during the concert]. I remember very few details about the show, mainly because I have played a lot of concerts [before and after the gig in question]."

"I just remember that the stage at the club was very small, and we barely managed to fit our equipment on there. Also, apparently there was a security guard there because many people climbed onto the stage -- including one small boy, in particular, but I could be mixing up details with what happened at other clubs," Blythe continued.

Blythe also explained that his vision isn't too clear on stage since he doesn't wear his glasses while performing.

"In any case, I did not attack anyone.  The only way I could have come into contact with anyone from the audience was if I was protecting myself from [people bumping into me when climbing on the stage]," the singer explained.

Blythe's wife had an emotional reunion with husband last week when she flew into Czech from the US to visit him.

The singer is on good terms with his jail mates and spending his time in jail writing songs, writing letters to family and friends, and keeping a journal.

"In terms of justice, I honestly do not know what to expect because it is different than the U.S. I thought that if I made bail, I would be released," Blythe continued.

It is not known when Blythe would be released.  The bail amount has doubled from $200,000 to $400,000 which he said is about double what he makes annually.
