Carly Rae Jepsen Broke, Begging For Money? 'Cinderalla' Star & 'Call Me Maybe' Pop Songstress Spotted In NYC Pawnshop Trading $25k Bag For Cash?

We really hope this isn't true but according to reports, Carly Rae Jepsen was spotted at a New York City pawnshop trying to trade in an expensive bag for cash! These reports claim that the bag belonging to the Broadway star of Cinderella was worth around $25 thousand and Jepsen was begging for a pawned value of much less just to have the money. Where's her buddy Justin Bieber when she needs him?

This very recent one hit wonder was in a NYC pawn shop yesterday trying to get money for a bag she paid $25K for. When the pawn shop said they don't loan money on bags because they could be fake, the foreign born singer begged them to at least give her a couple of thousand. They said no so she eventually gave them a piece of jewelry to get the money she needed. [sic]

Calling Carly Rae Jepsen a "One-Hit Wonder" isn't really fair considering she has a number of songs that have done well and has created a career outside of the music world. She was part of a Candies promotional line and has starred on the Broadway version of Cinderella.

If these rumors are true, perhaps the source just didn't really see what had transpired. Though if Carly is broke, we're sure a call to her famous friends would fix that.
