Comedian Joan Rivers is making headlines after she stormed out of her interview with CNN anchor, Fredricka Whitfield for being "negative" during her promotion rounds for her new book "Diary of a Mad Diva."

The 81-year-old Fashion Police host was asked about her not-so-nice comments she made on the show about celebrities and their wardrobe fails, and the host defended her comments saying, "It's not mean, it's not mean, it's not mean. I tell the truth," she said. "I'm sure I say the same things that all the viewers say to their friends sitting next to them on the couch."

The E! News host grew upset about the questions regarding the fur that she still wears while proclaiming to be an animal activist and slammed back at Whitfield, "You know this whole interview is becoming a defensive interview," she shouted. "Are you wearing leather shoes? Shut up." She yelled before storming off, "You know what, I'm going. I really am going because all you've done is negative. I've made people laugh for 50 years. I was put on earth to make people laugh and my book is funny ... You are not the one to interview a person who does humor. Sorry!"

Both supportive and unsupportive fans chimed in via twitter:
