WWE Spoilers: Daniel Bryan Out Indefinitely, Could Require Second Surgery

Today brings some sad news for WWE fans, as Daniel Bryan's neck injury is actually worse than most had previously thought, according to a new report from The Wrestling Observer.

Here's what the site had to report about the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion's condition:

"The update on Bryan is that he may now also require shoulder surgery, as a full exam has revealed a lot of different shoulder and neck issues. At this point, because of uncertainty as to whether he'll need surgery and what surgery it could be, he's out of plans and there is no estimate on when he'll return."

As you can probably surmise, that's awful news for Bryan Danielson and for his fans who so desperately want him to return to the ring. Bryan's initial prognosis was for a return around Money in the Bank last month. That was then pushed to SummerSlam or possibly Night of Champions in September. Bryan then came out on the Money in the Bank pre-show to announce he did not know when he would return, as the strength in his arm had not come back yet. Now, Bryan is out indefinitely and is not even a part of WWE's storyline plans for the foreseeable future.

Of course, the main concern is not for Daniel Bryan the wrestler, but Bryan Danielson the human being. He achieved his dream of becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 30 and married his beautiful wife Brie Bella but his life has unfortunately taken a terrible turn since then.

His father passed away while he was on his honeymoon and he suffered his neck injury shortly thereafter. WWE tried to keep him in the picture, but his body unfortunately would not cooperate. Now, all we wish is for Bryan to heal completely and hope that, one day, he can return to do what he loves and what he does best.
