Marvel Comics Presents 'Superior Spider-Man #32,' Take A Sneak Peek At Doc Ock's Missing Adventure!
Just when you thought Doc Ock's tenure as Spider-Man was completely done, Marvel Comics still has some important use for him. Before the Spider-Verse crossover event kicks off, Marvel presents one more tale starring Doc Ock in Dan Slott, Christos Gage, Giuseppe Camuncoli, and Adam Kubert's Superior Spider-Man #32.
When we last saw the super villain Doc Ock in the Marvel Universe, he had taken over the reins of Spider-Man. With his massive ego and knowledge of Spider-Man's long list of enemies, Ock thought he was the 'Superior' hero. It took the return of a vicious foe, the Green Goblin, to destroy everything Superior Spider-Man had built.
In Superior Spider-Man #31, Ock realized the error of his ways after failing to stop the Goblin King. In order to save New York, Peter Parker was brought back and became Spider-Man again. Now readers will be getting a missing adventure, a sort of flashback tale, from the superior wall-crawler.
Let's go back to Superior Spider-Man #19, where something mysterious happens to the web-spinner that makes him lose nine hours. In the new two-part storyline, Doc Ock finds himself plucked from the present and dropped into the future year of 2099.
As readers, we're going to find what happened to Octavius during those missing hours and how he came back to his original timeline. The biggest part of the mystery is discovering why the former baddie is so crucial to Spider-Verse, which brings every incarnation of Spider-Man to meet.
Superior Spider-Man #32 is expected to hit stores on August 6. Readers are you excited to see Doc Ock back in the Spidey costume?
