Ariana Grande 'Sam & Cat' Cancellation, 'Problem' Songstress Speaks Out On Twitter, Teases How She Would Have Ended Short-Lived Series With Jennette McCurdy
By now fans across the country have heard the devastating news that Nickelodeon show Sam & Cat has been canceled.
Star Ariana Grande just opened up on Twitter in a long letter about the fate of the show and how she would have wanted it to end.
"So the news is out about Sam & Cat," the starlet begins. "I felt it wasn't my place to make any sort of announcement so I kept quiet until now. I want to thank Nickelodeon for making a childhood dream of mine come true, for being a family to me, for being so accommodating and supportive of my multitasking with my music career, and for of course introducing me to many of my fans however many years ago."
The show, which was a fast hit amongst Nickelodeon viewers, quickly doubled the first season episode order from 20 to 40, but after backstage drama forced the show to go on hiatus for months, the network decided to cancel it for good.

Ariana also credits her character of Cat for helping her grow, and playing such a big party in her life.
"So I know a lot of people will think this is a lot for some 'dumb' kids show character.... but to me she is actually a lot smarter, stronger and braver than all the rest of us," Grande explained.
As for the show, which didn't tie up any of the lose ends for fans, Grande gives us a little synopsis of how she would have choose to end the series.
"Hopefully we'll find out one day if Cat & Robbie ever got married," she says. "If I had any say in the story from here on out I'd make sure they were happily married with sweet, eccentric, Jewish, artificially red headed babies."
"Cat would constantly find herself reminding Aunt Sam to leave the butter sock and other dangerous weapons out of the house," she jokingly continues. "They'd live down the street from Jade and Beck, also happily married with purple and black haired, pale, grungy, beautiful, goth babie
