The Avengers 2 Age of Ultron First Footage Details
Marvel Studios president of production Kevin Feige reportedly brought some footage of The Avengers: Age of Ultron to a preview and Q&A session in the U.K. for Guardians of Galaxy. Two sites have now posted some details about the footage.
The following comes from Geek Syndicate and Film3Sixty (via Comic Book Movie):
"The footage showed a foretaste of the action-packed sequel, including a sneak-peak at Iron Man's Hulkbuster battling The Hulk, and our first look at Avengers Tower, which houses the heroes, including labs for Stark and Dr. Banner. Director Joss Whedon described Avengers Tower as his - and the cast's - favorite set yet. The short clip also showed off the globetrotting locations being used, including South Korea, Italy and our very own United Kingdom. About two minutes of footage were shown. The Avengers Tower's interior looks Amazing and is very S.H.I.E.L.D. like but with a Tony Stark spin. Shot of Captain America on a Motorbike. Quinjets on display at Avengers Tower. Saw Quicksilver in action running (but not at superspeed). Saw some animatronics of Hulk vs. a Hulkbuster."
Radio Times also posted a more detailed description:
"Also sighted were new brother sister duo Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Scarlet has mysterious reality warping powers (in the footage this mostly involved making some blocks float around) while Quicksilver can run really, really fast (although without the special effects, it was more of a light jog). Scarlet Witch was shown fighting alongside Hawkeye on a ruined Italian street, but earlier in the reel both she and her brother were locked in fancy Perspex prison cells. Designed by Stark out of the ruins of his New York penthouse, this has all mod cons: floor to ceiling windows, twin laboratories for Stark and Bruce Banner, and parking for supersonic jets. It's reminiscent of the SHIELD helicarrier in terms of construction, with lots of shiny metal pillars."
Marvel will likely show this footage, if not more, at Comic-Con, so check back with MStars throughout the month for updates.
