Rapper Rick Ross addressed Meek Mill three to six month jail sentence and the young rappers beef with MMG label mate Wale.

"I created MMG years ago, my desire was to create a space where the most talented artists in the world could be nurtured and supported. With that came a commitment. I vowed to support these artist, through the good and the bad. Every individual signed to MMG is not just an artist, they are my family." Rick said in a statement to MTV. "And with family you ride, or you die. Yesterday, my brother, Meek Mill ran into some unfortunate legal issues. It happens. However, his team, our team, will continue to execute Meek's plan as close to schedule as possible. His album is coming. We ask that the fans and the media continue to support him and his music during this time. He'll be home soon. 'Dreams Are Worth More Than Money,' and family is worth more than Everything. MMG FOR LIFE."

Rapper Wale sent out his support for the 27-year-old through his Instagram writing, "Late night gathering them thoughts. Appreciate all the love. Family gon be family .Always MMG no matter what . #mmg #ebm #freemeekmilly."

The beef between the two rappers has allegedly died down according to Rick Ross who told Bullet.com that the brief beef was blown out of proportion.

"It's a misunderstanding. As soon as the tweets went out, I spoke to both of them on the phone. Those two guys, they're brothers. At the end of the day, they're brothers and it's time to turn up right now. It's time for all of us to turn up and stay turned up, you know what I mean? But it's all love between those two and everybody knows that."

He added, "They're two real dudes, two successful dudes, and we all came from the same place. When I first brought them on the team, we all drove to our first video set together. It was just us three, and I felt we all was at the bottom at the time. You know, Wale was in his new situation, Meek in his first situation, and me in my very first situation being a CEO, being a boss with my own label deal. So we all was on the same flow, and once we mention that, it's all good."
