Britney Spears Skips Out On Lunch Bill - 'Piece Of Me' Singer Dines and Dashes

She's not that innocent.

Britney Spears went on a date with her boyfriend David Lucado to The Cheesecake Factory yesterday, and it turns out their meal was free. Not free because she is the queen of pop and the restaurant took care of it, but free because the pop singer skipped out on the meal without paying the bill.

Sources told TMZ that the Las Vegas showstopper went to lunch with her boyfriend at the restaurant in the Thousand Oaks, California area where they ordered an appetizer and a salad.

The funny thing is, the bill only came to $30. However, the twist to the story is the Britney fully intended to pay the bill, just she thought that her security guard was going to take care of it for her. Britney and David left the restaurant with to-go boxes for their apps and salad thinking that her team would pay for the cheap lunch.

A rep for Britney told TMZ that the pop icon feels "horrible" about the honest mistake and the guard thought Spears had already paid the bill, which is why he didn't step in.

The singer is currently taking a break from her hugely popular Vegas show "Piece of Me" which will start up again on August 15.

She is taking the much needed respite to spend time with her family as well as David, who the National Enquirer reported last week, were engaged and getting married in a Thanksgiving wedding ceremony.
