Adam Levine Offers To Sign Keira Knightley To Record Label, 'Begin Again' Co-Stars Working On Album Together?

Adam Levine is looking to turn Keira Knightley into the next big music superstar.

The Maroon 5 hitmaker has just offered to sign the 29-year-old actress to his music label, 222 Records. The pair is costarring in the new musical-dramedy Begin Again together, which is where Levine first heard Keira's vocal range, and was very impressed by the actress.

"Keira has offers on the table and is tempted by them," an insider told The Sun. "She enjoyed singing in the movie and people around her were impressed. Adam has just started a label called 222 Records and has been trying to persuade Keira to sign a deal with them."

The source also revealed that by The Voice coach adding Knightley to his 222 roster that he hopes it will help jumpstart his label. "He thinks she could be a successful pop star and sell loads of records, which would help kickstart his career as a label boss."

It seems that Levine has had quite the busy week, on top of this news, he has also released the track listing and cover artwork for his band's new album, as well as gotten married to Victoria Secret model Behati Prinsloo.

Despite the opportunity, Keira, who is married to Klaxons musician James Righton, has previously expressed her disinterest in pursuing a career in the music industry, saying, "I know nothing about music."
