Hilary Duff, 'Chasing The Sun' Singer Previews Song In Funny Instagram Video - Full Song Release Date July 29

Are you ready to start "Chasing the Sun?" Well Hilary Duff sure is.

The pop princess is gearing up to return to the world of music by releasing her all-new single, "Chasing the Sun," on July 29.

And the ever-gracious singer is giving us a little sneak peek into her new song through an Instagram video that she posted to the social media site earlier today.

While Hilary playfully rolls, jumps, and dances on her bed, we can hear the new song playing in the background and it is giving us a very Colbie Caillat vibe as it should, since it was written by her along with Jason Reeves.

Duff is also planning to roll out the music video for the single on July 29 as well, giving fans a double dose of the duffster.

This marks the former Disney Channel star's return to music after taking a seven-year hiatus, having not releasing original music since 2007. Hilary has signed a record contract with RCA after getting out of her deal with Hollywood Records.

"I took a break from music for quite awhile, but it gave me the power to choose my next steps carefully and I'm really proud of the album I've made," the singer revealed in a statement. 'Chasing The Sun' is a light and fun summer song that I hope helps people to feel a little more carefree,

The single is currently available for pre-order on iTunes and will be released next Tuesday.

Duff is in the process of putting the finishing touches on her fifth studio album, which will be released later this year.
