WWE Spoilers: WWE Reportedly Considering Suing CM Punk

After WWE added CM Punk to the alumni section of its website, many fans assumes that was the end of the story between the Best in the World and the company as his contract expired. But apparently, WWE is still upset with Punk for walking out and is considering suing him for breach of contract.

Dave Meltzer said the following on his Wrestling Observer Radio show on Tuesday (via Cageside Seats):

"Right now there are definitely issues with WWE and CM Punk. WWE is not happy with the way this all went down. Nothings happened yet, but this is not, you know, you haven't heard anything and that would make you think his contract expired a couple of days ago and you think, well, this is a nice smooth ending. From WWE's standpoint, they haven't made a move yet, but there's certainly the threat that it's happening and this may not be smooth."

On the red carpet of the AP Music Awards, Punk somewhat coyly said he would "never ever ever" go back to WWE and made some jokes about not remembering parts of his life because of concussions and staph infections. According to Meltzer, some within WWE were upset with Punk's remarks:

"I know the people there [had] the idea he was mocking the idea that he's injured and that's why he left, as opposed to just being frustrated and essentially breaching his contract [as to] why he left and now he's trying to claim injury."

What do you think of this situation? Will WWE sue Phil Brooks the man? Let us know in the comments below.
