Carlos Tevez: Juventus Star's Stepfather Kidnapped & Held For Ransom, Will They Move Back To English Premier League?
Carlos Tevez often moaned about life in England, hinting that life in Argentina or Italy would be better, but he may soon change his mind, and ask to leave Juventus, and want to move back to England, joining a Premier League side. Tevez's stepfather was kidnapped, but luckily he has been found, and he is okay. The kidnapping took place in Argentina, and it's believed Tevez payed a ransom fee to get him back. This isn't the first time a sports star has been held to ransom like this.
He was kidnapped for around 8 hours on Tuesday, but was soon released. For this to happen in the country Tevez calls "home" and begged to return to, it certainly raises questions. Could he bring his family to Italy, or will he look at joining an EPL side, and going back to the former life he lived, knew and trusted?
Tevez's stepfather was driving about 19 miles away from Buenos Aires, when he was abducted by a large group of men, who soon demanded a fee. Reports suggest it could of been as low as $5k, or as high as $400l, but in the end he's safe, and that's what truly matters. Tevez has been given time off to ensure everything is okay, and to mentally prepare himself for the upcoming season.
Will this drama make him think twice about returning home to Argentina, or will he move his family to Italy or England? Either way, you can bet they'll be worried to live in a place they love so much, which is a shame.
