'Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes' Unleashes Loki, Green Goblin, & Ronan The Accuser in 'Villains' Trailer [Watch Video]

Not only will gamers be able to play as their favorite superhero in the Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel's Superheroes videogame, but also as one of the infamous super villains. A new trailer has been released featuring the most infamous baddies ever - Loki, Ronan The Accuser, and the Green Goblin.

For the Disney Infinity sequel, Avalanche Studios divided the game itself into two different modes, the "Play Set" and the "Toybox." The "Play Set" mode is penned by fan-favorite writer Brian Michael Bendis, best known for the Guardians of the Guardians comics. Just as the ragtag space team is making its way to the big screens everywhere, Star-Lord's nemesis, Ronan, makes his grand entrance, with his super-powered sledgehammer, into the videogame itself.

From the Spider-Man universe, the Green Goblin arrives as a monstrous creature in this version, than as a maniac scientist. In the video, we see the Goblin King throwing his homemade bombs at the wall-crawler. Even though his spider-sense is tingling, there was just not enough time for Spidey to dodge the explosion.

And finally, we have Thor's brother, the trickster known as Loki. The powerful Asgardian swings his mystical staff to hurt the God of Thunder. Though the siblings cannot stand each other, Loki has been known to switch sides, especially if it meant to save his brother.

In the Marvel Universe, we have seen the hero win countless times against their enemy. But this time, it's time to root for the bad guys.
