UFC 178, Jon Jones & Daniel Cormier Brawl [WATCH]: Fighters Fall Off Stage, Scuffle Goes Viral [Videos]
A major brawl during the UFC 178 Media Day at MGM Grand Hotel. Instead of trading verbal jabs between each other, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon "Bones" Jones and opposing challenger Daniel Cormier went straight to punches.
A press conference was held to promote the title fight, which is set for September 27 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. This is supposed to be one of the UFC's most anticipated matches. Usually, viewers would have to pay for this type of scuffle, but instead, they got an exciting free-for-all.
As the UFC fighters met on stage for a traditional face-off, the event really got ugly in a flash. What started out as a stare-down photo opportunity, the hotel lobby became the ring for the two fighters. After the duo butted heads, Cormier then shoved Jones backwards.
As the pre-scuffle played out, the meditator was tossed aside and fell on top of the huge banner. The failed referee almost split the poster in half. In an immediate rush, the photographers were snapping pictures of the fighters slugging punches at each other.

Twitter was place to be after the short brawl. Cormier tweets, "I won't let another man get in my face and put his forehead against mine. I will react every time. @JonnyBones next time, I will slap you."
Jones responds, "Lol! Those baby punches from the bottom. I really hope you have more prepared than that for when I take you down again."
