Based on the popular horror franchise, Scream has found a new home at MTV with a brand new cast and director. With the cable adaptation moving forward, horror fans are wondering if the original creators, director Wes Craven (Nightmare on Elm Street) and Kevin Williamson (The Following), will joining in on the reboot.

It all starts with a phone call and a deep, scary voice asking you, "What's your favorite scary movie?" If the caller answers correctly, there may be a slim chance they might survive to the sequel. But if they don't pick the right one, a mask-wearing psychopath will be chasing after them.

The Hollywood Reporter has announced the full lineup for the upcoming slasher drama. Willa Fitzgerald (Royal Pains) joins Amy Forsyth (Reign), John Karna (The Neighbors), Carlson Young (The Kroll Show) and newcomer Amadeus Serafini. Viewers shouldn't get attached to these stars anytime soon. Because in a horror movie, you never know who will show up on the death count.

Will the original Scream director and scribe put their cinematic touches on the TV show? According to THR, neither Williamson, nor Craven want anything to do with the show. Just because the Last House On The Left director doesn't want to involved, that does not mean he won't be watching the pilot, like everyone else.

In an interview with Flickering Myth, Craven states, "I'm curious. I'll watch it. I'll give it a go. Teen Wolf turned out to be a fun romp-I enjoy the hell out of that-so maybe MTV's on a roll and it will be a good, cool thriller.

Jamie Travis (Faking It) will direct the pilot, which has been written by Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin (Criminal Minds).
