Marouane Fellaini, Nani, Wilfried Zaha, Shinji Kagawa, Anderson, Rafael & Many Other Manchester United Stars Told To 'Get Out Of Our Club' By Louis Van Gaal
Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal has hinted for a long while that he will make many changes to his new club. The manager is set to bring in a few more signings in the coming weeks, but they will come at a cost. Many players in the current squad have been told they have to leave, and it's believed that Van Gaal has sat down and told certain players just that. Names he has circulated around include: Marouane Fellaini, Nani, Wilfried Zaha, Shinji Kagawa, Anderson and Rafael have all been told they can leave as the club prepare to bring in Angel Di Maria, Juan Cuadrado and Arturo Vidal.
United's squad have served them well, however, last season many players seemed to lose their skills, and quite frankly they seemed like they'd rather be elsewhere. Their torrid season means there will be no European football at Old Trafford this season, adding the importance to trimming the squad. Van Gaal wants to work with a small, world class squad, also allowing for youngsters to break in to his squad.
It's believed players like Anderson and Nani, who have failed to improve or live up to their hype, are seen as surplus to requirements, and quite simply a burden to the players he wants to focus on. The belief is that the squad will greatly improve if he can focus on each and every one of them, rather than talking to players he has no interest in keeping.
Is this the right way to go about clearing the squad, or is Van Gaal being too brutal?
