Play 'Sharknado: The Video Game' For Absolutely Free! Get Free Game Before 'Sharknado 3' Airs!
With Sharknado: The Second One being a wild success on the Syfy Channel, developer Other Ocean is offering a special deal for players with Sharknado: The Video Game. At the stroke of midnight, get ready to play as Ian Ziering's Fin Shepard for absolutely free, at the asking price of nothing.
In the first Sharknado, global warming causes a freak hurricane to swamp Los Angeles. Now nature's deadliest killer of the oceans rules by land and air, chopping down on unsuspecting victims. In the sequel, the shark-infested tornadoes have moved to a new setting, threatening the lives of everyone in New York. Wherever Fin (Ziering) goes, nothing is going to stop him from rescuing his estranged family from danger.
Based on the events of Sharknado 2, gamers run a gauntlet of levels as Fin tries to collect as many coins as he can. Just like in the climatic scene of the sequel, fly into the heart of the tornado while riding on top of a tiger shark. Slice and dice through those sharks as you let your chainsaw roar.
Originally priced at $2.99, director Frank Cifaldi explains why the videogame is now being sold for free, "This time of year is about more than just receiving. It's about giving too." Cifaldi continues, "Our only regret is that we have but one Sharknado game to give."
