Kelly Clarkson Sings Awesome Rendition of Katy Perry's 'Wide Awake' [VIDEO]

The talented songstress Kelly Clarkson made her concert-goers happy by singing her own emotion-filled version of Katy Perry's current hit single "Wide Awake" on Wednesday night (July 25).  The crowds couldn't stop screaming as their Idol nailed the ballad.  

Since the beginning of her solo tour this year, Clarkson has started a new tradition for fans to request songs that they're like her to cover.  Fans can simply send their request by tweeting their name, the song title, and #KCrequests.  

Clarkson, the original winner of American Idol in Season 1, has recently started to hit a high in her career with her comeback hit "Stronger."  She recently knocked the ever reigning Carrie Underwood down to No. 2 by setting the new record for the most digital downloads sold by an American Idol alum.

Clarkson's chart-topper "Stronger" hit platinum more than 5 times with over 5 million digital sales.
