'Bad Boys 3' Confirmed, Release Date Rumors, Trailer Spoilers [VIDEO]: Martin Lawrence Confirms Will Smith Buddy Cop Movie on 'Conan'
Martin Lawrence dropped some huge news this week while appearing on TBS's Conan. While speaking with host O'Brien, the Partners star announced the third movie in the Bad Boys franchise - which stars Lawrence and Will Smith - is in the works. Bad Boys 3 should be getting an official release date soon, but for now we can at least anticipate some great action, explosions, and comedy from the returning buddy cop duo ... but will Michael Bay direct?
"I believe so. Yes," Lawrence old Conan when the late night talk show host asked him is Bad Boys 3 was going to happen. "I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday and he said its real, they're working on the script, they're getting close and it all looks good."

This news comes about a month after Lawrence took to Facebook to publicly announce that he'd be interested in a new Bad Boys project, and asked Smith if he felt the same. Check out this post right here!
Bad Boys and Bad Boys 2 were both huge successes, but everyone involved has since become very expensive in Hollywood. Smith is easily one of the biggest movie stars of this generation - thanks, in part, to this franchise - and Bruckheimer and Bay are two of the biggest names in filmmaking. Basically, a lot of money needs to come together to get this team back in the saddle.
But Lawrence's announcement at least means that there is some talk about the project, so we have that to be excited about! What do you think of this news? Let us know in the comments section below!
