During the recent Gamescom convention, new gameplay footage has been released for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. When an intergalactic crisis strikes, with the world in danger from the super-villain Brainiac, the Justice League is rounded up together, whether Batman likes it or not, to save the day.

Just like in the previous game, players will be able to play as their DC Comics characters in the upcoming LEGO Batman sequel. As mentioned here, in the farthest regions of outer-space, the Justice League headquarters has just been invaded by The Joker and his henchmen. The first level is about securing the space station and getting rid of the bad guys who have hijacked the controls.

In the video, we see Batman, wearing a space suit, teaming up with Cyborg. As the robotic-enhanced superhero, you are able to switch from your stealth suit, your sonar suit, and your giant suit; which all come with different features. Notice how Cyborg is able to fly his way across, using his rocket-powered boots.

Just like in the previous installments, the gamer has to put the blocks and bricks together in order to uncover the clues. Because this is an all-ages game, check out how hilarious it is to see Cyborg transforming himself into a washing machine at the click of a button. Even more fun is added to the game when The Flash shows up.

From IGN's YouTube page, check out the gameplay footage here:
