Lady Gaga Filming 'Machete Kills', Reveals Character Poster

Lady Gaga is appearing the upcoming movie "Machete Kills" directed by Robert Rodriguez.

"I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills , she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!" the film director tweeted on Thursday (7/26) along with the character poster.

The mother monster also confirmed the news to her over 27 million twitter fans.

"LADY GAGA AS LA CHAMELEON IN MACHETE KILLS DIRECTED BY ROBERT RODRIGUEZ STARRING DANNY TREJO (YES THIS IS REAL)"

"Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress ln the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane."

Gaga joins the cast members of the second installment in the Machete trilogy which includes Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Vanessa Hudgens, Mel Gibson, Alexa Vega, Zoe Saldana, Amber Heard and Charlie Sheen.

In the next film, Machete is given a mission by the President of the United States to take down Mendez the Madam who plans a missile to fire at the U.S. The release date is not annouced yet, but expected to hit next year.
