Monday Night Raw Preview 8/8/14: WWE SummerSlam 2014 Fallout Featuring Three New Champions

The Aug. 18, 2014 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas and will feature all the fallout from last night's stellar SummerSlam pay-per-view. Three new champions were crowned last night, including The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar absolutely destroyed John Cena in the main event with 16 German suplexes and two F5s to pin the champion and claim the title, all while Paul Heyman watched gleefully from ringside. It would be difficult to understate exactly how brilliant this match was and how gutsy WWE was for going through with it. Brock Lesnar, the man who broke the Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania, squashed John Cena in the main event of the second-biggest pay-per-view of the year.

Cena barely got off any offense at all and when he did, Lensar stopped him in his tracks. He kicked out of an Attitude Adjustment, sat up like Taker and laughed as if to tell Cena "I'm about to put you in the ground." Every time Cena showed a hint of a comeback, Lesnar stamped it out under his boot. It was Doomsday killing Superman. The Beast looks unstoppable, which is exactly what needed to happen.

As for tonight, how will Cena and Lesnar react to last night's event? Heyman will likely cut a lengthy promo praising his client and the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but will Cena address his loss? If so, will he smile it off as he usually does, or will he finally snap now that Lesnar beat him so thoroughly? Will the two have a rematch, or might Lesnar disappear for a while?

Also, it's possible WWE could debut the new title belt, which popped up online a few weeks ago. We'll find out if that happens tonight.

Stephanie McMahon beat Brie Bella last night thanks to interference from Triple H. But the real assist came from Nikki Bella, who turned on her sister and gave Stephanie the chance to Pedigree Brie into the mat for the pin. Will Nikki explain her actions tonight on Raw? Did the Authority buy her loyalty, or had she simply had enough of her sister?

Roman Reigns defeated Randy Orton to move one more step up the mountain. Rumors maintain Reigns will face Triple H at Night of Champions next month, so might we see the beginning of the build to that match tonight? Now that Reigns has beaten Orton, it would stand to reason that Hunter is the next villain for him to vanquish.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins put on an incredible Lumberjack Match last night that ended when Rollins smashed his former friend with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Is Ambrose done with Rollins now, or will he continue to stalk his former brother? Will he set his sights on Kane, who helped cost him the match?

Bray Wyatt got a much-needed clean win over Chris Jericho. With a win apiece, it seems likely they will have a rubber match at Night of Champions. Might there be a special stipulation revealed tonight?

Dolph Ziggler won the Intercontinental Championship from The Miz last night after a Zig Zag. Will the Hollywood "star" whine and complain his way to a rematch, or will a new challenger step up for Ziggler's new title?

Paige also recaptured the Divas Champion from AJ Lee after she countered the Black Widow into the Rampaige to score the pin. Will these two continue to feud for the title, or will another female wrestler take a shot at the young British champion?

Finally, Rusev showed his superiority over Jack Swagger in the Flag Match when he made the Real American pass out to the Accolade. Will Swagger and Zeb Colter take another shot at Rusev, or will Lana and the pro-Russian wrestler move on to another challenger?

As always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action. But for now, let us know what you expect from tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw in the comments section.
