Ian Somerhalder & Nikki Reed Dating Diss To Nina Dobrev? 'Vampire Diaries' Hottie Admits 'Life Is Good, I Couldn't Be Happier'

Since the announcement of their relationship, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's red-hot romance has went from 1 to 60 in about three seconds. The pair who met through Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend and The Vampire Diaries costar Nina Dobrev caused quite the controversy when they announced that they were actually seeing each other, after Dobrev and Somerhalder's relationship went south.

Having been spotted going for runs together, and buying produce at farmers' markets, the couple has finally gone public with their love for each other.

E! News caught up with Ian at the 2014 Creative Arts Emmys, where they asked him all about his new relationship with Reed.

"Life is good," the 35-year-old actor explained. "There's a lot of support and love from a lot of people. I couldn't be happier if I tried."

And it seems that the two have more in common than just playing vampires on TV and film, as they have been spending a considerable amount of time together lately.

In the last few weeks, the Twilight beauty and her Vampire Diaries boyfriend have been spotted at the Teen Choice awards together, as well as were seen kissing and packing on the PDA during San Diego's Comic-Con.

An eyewitness from the comic book convention even told E! that the two looked so in love together. "[They are] smitten with each other and love spending time together," the source revealed.
