'Orange Is The New Black' Star Uzo Aduba Wins An Emmy !! 'I Proudly And Humbly Accept This Honor' Actress Tweets
Congrats are in order, for Orange Is The New Black actress, Uzo Aduba who won an Emmy over the weekend in the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony.
Aduba's character, "Crazy Eyes" on the Netflix's hit series wore an all white dress as she accepted her award from presenter Morgan Freeman.
"The man himself, Mr. Morgan Freeman. #creativeartsemmys," Aduba wrote on the photo above.
According to Perez Hilton, Aduba was overwhelmed with emotions as the gave her acceptance speech. "I don't know how to say how incredibly impressed I am to be a part of this show."
She continued to describe stories about her strong mother, who sacrificed so much in order to live in America and stories of her outstanding cast-mates.
Aduba revealed to her fans the wonderful news, via Twitter:

She continued her happiness via Instagram, sharing images along with the people that made her night possible including her family.
