A music video of rapper Iggy Azalea called "Nothing Like Me" shows the Australian celebrity channeling her inner Brittney Spears and ditching her southern rap swag before hitting it big and signing to T.I.'s label.

In an interview with  Complex magazine, last year, the 23-year-old rapper said that she doesn't like to rap in her Australian accent because of the a technique she learned to help her delivery get across.

"It feels weird to me." She added, "The breath patterns aren't the same as when I'm talking, so it's easier to change into whatever I want. I couldn't talk in an American accent-I could, but it would sound very fake-but I can rap in one with no problem."

Many question the newest rap star's southern feel especially the outspoken singer, K. Michelle who tweeted in May, "How can you be from another country and rap like you're from Memphis, TN? But u don't hear me though #offended."

Fans slammed the "Fancy" star in the YouTube comments:

OnePieceisTheBest0 commented, "Loool this b**ch is wack. This video proves she is not a real rapper. She went into the game thinking she could sing but failed and decided to do rap because she knew she would standout being the only white girl in the hip hop industry would help her get to fame and success. She does not even write her own raps nor can she sing. She is a manufactured fraud puppet for the industry. This video confirms it all. Talentless hoe with a fake bootie!"

Brynn Fussell wrote, "I know she was not a good singer but it doesn't automatically mean she's fake. maybe she just wanted to try singing for fun or something. her passion is rapping and as much as i love her, this song is horrible, because singing wasn't for her. rapping clearly is because she's amazing. just not at singing."
