Love And Hip Hop ATL Stevie J, Mimi Faust Dating [VIDEO], Stevie Ditches Joseline Hernandez For His Family, "Trust Me, I'm Here For You"
"Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" reality stars Stevie J and Mimi Faust finally have a heart-to-heart about their struggling relationship and issues the reality star endured with ex-boyfriend, Nikko Smith, her father's sudden death, and her infamous sex tape.
For the first time this season, Mimi and Stevie sat down without any drama and the 42-year-old reality star revealed to her ex that Nikko is still married, "Well, I recently found out that my boyfriend is married, been married, seven years been married."
Stevie asked if the relationship was over and was relieved to hear a "yes," but opened up in his confessional, "Yo, I hate some of the decisions Mimi has made lately, but you know honestly, she probably as under the spell of this scumbag Nikko. But now she knows the truth about him, she can get her mind right."
As the two joked about Joseline and Nikko being "scumbags" Mimi asked Stevie to finally give her the apology she's been waiting for after a long year. Stevie complied, "We've been through a lot from '98 on tour, to where we have a daughter, to where things left, right, up, down- the curve's been everywhere." He continued, "I've been wrong and I'd like to tell you, I apologize to you. As a man I should be able to man up and deal with you as my daughter's mother, as a great friend, someone's that's been in my life longer than anybody else I know- besides my family. No matter what I love you. No matter what you got my baby. You got our baby. You know I love you right? Ain't nothing gonna change that. I'm sorry for coming at you sideways. Anytime I did, I'm sorry."
Mimi cried about all her struggles and the lack of love and family she has ever since her father passed away, but Stevie shocked her and told her, "I'm here for you. I'ma look you in your eyes and tell you I love you and I'm here for you. Don't cry baby, because you gonna make me cry, I don't wanna cry." He went on and stated that he isn't like Nikko and would let the universe handle him for making Mimi cry, "The universe is on our side, trust me, we get into the triangle that we got with our daughter. Me, you, and Eva."
Mimi said, "You know I have serious trust issues with you. I gotta take that with a grain of salt though."
With a dramatic end, Stevie begged that she opened up to him again, "Just believe me. You never believed me the whole relationship. Can you just believe me now that I'm here? I put that on our daughter, I put that on my soul. Mommy trust me, I'm here for you."
