Miranda Lambert Instagram Makeup Free Selfie PHOTO - Blake Shelton's Wife Debuts New Platinum Hairstyle In Cute Pic

Miranda Lambert took to her Instagram account today to show that she isn't afraid of a makeup free selfie. Blake Shelton's country singer wife posted an image to the social media site where she showed off her fresh face while also debuting a new shorter hairstyle.

In the caption for the image, she quotes a lyric to her song "Platinum," which is also the title to her album that was released earlier this summer.

"Fresh cut! Fresh color! "Somethin' bout PLATINUM!" the singer write. She even gives a shout-out to her amazing hair stylist, writing, "Thanks @amandacraig12! Love you."

It's a refreshing change for the "Somethin' Bad" singer who we usually see in full face makeup and big hair during her award shows appearances and performances.

She recently cut her hair short back in June, but today she debuted an even shorter hairstyle with layers and fuller bangs.

Without the heavy eye makeup and long locks, we are definitely seeing a strong resemblance to her fellow country-singing friend Jennifer Nettles.

The songstress broadcasted the image to her more then half a million followers, which can't be easy especially when your not wearing any makeup, but her followers, like us, are just loving the new look on her.

One of her follower's, Joanndondzik comments, "Nice color. The look is so natural. Beautiful."

While another fan, Sarah_Whitedove writes, "I love your new hair cut! It's so pretty."

The singer is currently on her Platinum Tour in support of her new album until late this fall.
