Pierce Brosnan Relives James Bond Days, Plays 'GoldenEye 007' N64 Video Game w/ Jimmy Fallon on 'Tonight Show' [VIDEO]
Actor Pierce Brosnan got to relive his days of starring in James Bond movies this week when he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new film The November Man. Fallon decided to challenge Brosnan to the overwhelmingly popular N64 video game GoldenEye 007, which was based on Brosnan's first role as Bond. In this great video clip from NBC's show, we learn that Pierce isn't too good at gaming!
Honestly, there's not much else to say about this video segment besides the fact that Brosnan is not good at gaming. He runs around the map, apparently searching for Fallon, but only ends up karate chopping the entire time. Pierce does manage to pick up some body armor, which comes in handy, but really it was just a strange gaming experience to watch.
What we can take away from this is that Jimmy is just okay at the game. He manages to pick up a gun and, though his first shots on Brosnan are absorbed by the body armor, he ends up making Pierce look bad on national TV. But again, that wasn't a hard thing to do in this case.
Did we really expect this huge actor to be good at playing video games - in this case a video game based on his most popular movie?
Watch the video below to see just how bad Pierce is at this game, while also brushing off his lack of gaming talent:
